I’ve often heard the passing comment, “I’ll keep that in mind” and never really gave it a thought. But the other day, someone said it and for some reason the concept of mindfulness. popped into my head.
Mindfulness is the simple, enjoyable and pleasant practice of bringing our mind and body together into the present moment. Our home is not in the past or the future but right here, in the now. A really good thing to keep in mind.

Positive Thought of the Week
As I connect with the present moment I focus on my breathing.
• I slowly breathe in and say, I know I am breathing in.
• I slowly breathe out and say, I know I am breathing out.
I allow each breath to be calm, quiet and joyful. I am in the present moment. I let all other thoughts simply drift away and breathe. I am alive, I am grateful and I am present.
I repeat this until I am fully ready to step into my day.
